Thinking about peer review

Peer reviewing can be helpful in my opinion. It allows for some outside input into your paper. I personally have a hard time trying to review my peers papers, even though i know they can used the input. Peer reviewing is to much like casting judgement on my peer's paper. I don't like it, but that probably is because i don't understand the importance of having a peer review your writing. I can say that my strengths in peer reviewing is being able to here what my peer is trying to say. More time should be spent in the class on peer reviewing, if your'e going to have a meaningful reviewing of essays by classmates.
